YOUR MISSION

As Operations Manager, you are responsible for driving operational excellence and ensuring seamless delivery across teams in alignment with organizational policies and strategic goals.

You oversee and optimize processes, manage budgets, and coordinate resources to support business objectives. Leading both the DevOps team and the Operations squad, you foster collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement, while working closely with HR and leadership to promote a positive and high-performance work culture.

YOUR IMPACT: ROLE AND RESPONSIBLITIES

 Operational Excellence

  • You oversee and optimize operational processes, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
  • You monitor performance metrics and proactively address operational risks or gaps.
  • You ensure adherence to organizational policies, compliance, and quality standards.
  • You oversee operational requests by customers.

Team Leadership

  • You supervise and mentor Agile team(s), fostering a motivating and productive work environment.
  • You establish clear goals for the team(s) and monitor individual performance.
  • You have the role of proxy-Product Owner in the team.
  • You provide support and coaching to team members, helping them develop their skills and reach their full potential.

Collaboration and Delivery

  • You foster effective and open communication within the team(s) and with other departments.
  • You ensure seamless delivery of services and projects from DevOps and Operations teams.
  • You establish and maintain service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • You drive incident management, problem resolution, and post-mortem analysis.

Budget and Resource Management

  • You manage operational budgets, track expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • You support strategic planning by providing insights on operational needs and forecasts.

As Operations Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the infrastructure of the Ewon Cloud solution and ensuring alignment of operations across other cloud solutions.

You directly manage a team of 3 DevOps engineers and coordinate a squad of 8 Operators. 

In this role, you work closely with the Program Director, Team Managers, and Operators to ensure seamless operations, continuous improvement, and adherence to organizational standards.

Challenges

  • Lead Operations and Compliance: Manage day-to-day operations while ensuring adherence to ISO 27001 certification requirements, maintaining high security and quality standards.
  • Optimize Infrastructure Performance: Align infrastructure goals with organizational expectations and drive continuous optimization through measurable outcomes and key performance indicators.
  • Support Cross-Team Development Pipelines: Enable and streamline the development pipeline for cross-functional cloud solutions, fostering collaboration and operational efficiency across teams.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or another relevant technical domain.
  • You have proven experience in team management, preferably as a People Manager or in a similar role (at least 5 years).
  • You have proven experience in CI/CD, preferably in a context with several development teams.
  • You have proven experience in Operations management, preferably in ISO context.
  • You have proven experience with Agile and/or Lean mindset and methodologies.
  • You have proven experience with the ICT sector.
  • You have excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with individuals at various levels.
  • You have ability to resolve conflicts and handle issues professionally and fairly.
  • You have strong coaching and employee development skills.
