We are looking for a committed and sales-driven Sales Account Manager (F/M/X) to join our Industrial Network Technology (INT) division, strengthening our commercial presence across France and the Iberian region (with a focus on Spain).

Based in France, you will work closely with colleagues across Europe and join a diverse, collaborative team that values initiative, trust, and shared success.

Sales Account Manager (M/F/X)

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You manage and develop existing customer relationships within the region, ensuring long-term customer loyalty and satisfaction. The region includes France, Spain, Portugal and parts of French speaking Switzerland
  • You build new customer relationships based on trust, shared goals, and mutual success.
  • You identify new market opportunities and potential customers, implementing strategies for effective acquisition.
  • You monitor market trends, conduct market analyses, and contribute to the development of new markets and increase market share.
  • You use your technical affinity to support customers both commercially and technically, ensuring their needs are met.
  • You prepare accurate and competitive offers and follow up to successfully close deals.
  • You collaborate closely with our Application Engineering team to plan, manage, and follow up on customer projects.
  • You maintain and update relevant customer data in our CRM system as part of your daily routine.
  • You represent HMS at trade shows and networking events to promote the company and build valuable relationships.
ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS
  • You have a degree in a technical or business field – ideally with a focus on automation technology – or relevant professional experience in technical sales.
  • You have proven experience in selling technical products.
  • You have strong negotiation skills and an entrepreneurial mindset focused on building long-term partnerships.
  • You have a structured working style, organizational talent, creativity, and confident demeanour.
  • You have a high level of self-motivation, resilience, and assertiveness.
  • You have a strong team player mindset with excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills – we value international collaboration and team spirit.
  • You have an excellent written and spoken French and English skills for effective communication in an international business environment, Spanish skills are welcome as well.
  • You have a willingness to travel regularly within the French and Iberian region to visit customers and strengthen relationships. A company car is provided and may be used for personal use as well.
