Software Developer (M/F/X)
HMS is looking for a skilled Frontend Developer to help shape the next generation of IDS cloud technology.
You’ll join an international, self‑organized team and work closely with our Product Owner and R&D Manager to turn early design concepts into scalable, high‑impact front‑end solutions.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You design, develop, and maintain the front-end components of IDS cloud-based solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, maintainability, and adherence to established coding standards and best practices.

You collaborate with product owners, designers, and backend developers to translate business requirements into intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly web applications.

You produce clear technical specifications, assess solution feasibility and complexity, and provide accurate development effort estimates to support project planning and delivery.

You develop prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions to evaluate new technologies, frameworks, or approaches that may enhance product functionality, performance, or user experience.

You perform troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization activities to improve application reliability, responsiveness, and overall performance.

You contribute actively to code reviews, ensuring quality, consistency, and knowledge sharing across the team.

You maintain documentation related to development processes, architecture decisions, and technical implementations.

You promote continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to development tools, workflows, coding practices, and team collaboration.

You provide support to junior developers, encourage knowledge sharing, and contribute to a collaborative, innovation oriented team culture.

You stay up to date with evolving front-end technologies, industry trends, and best practices to ensure modern, competitive solutions.

You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

You have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in front-end development, ideally within modern web application environments.

You demonstrate experience working in agile or collaborative development environments is considered an advantage.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

You have a strong hands-on experience with the Angular framework (or similar modern JavaScript frameworks) including component architecture, state management, and performance optimization.

You have proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.

You are familiar with REST APIs, cloud-based applications, and modern front-end build tools.

You have a good understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows.

You might have experience with UI/UX design principles, accessibility standards, or usability optimization (considered as a plus).

You might have knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, or full-stack development concepts (considered as an advantage).

You have good command of English (spoken and written) for effective collaboration in an international environment.

You have strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.

You have ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

You have a proactive mindset with willingness to learn new technologies and continuously improve skills.

You are flexible and have occasional willingness to travel internationally when project or business needs require.
