Firmware Team Manager (M/F/X)

As Firmware Team Manager, you coordinate and support development teams working on the firmware of the Ewon gateways.

You ensure clarity, alignment, and effective decision-making across teams.

Your mission is to secure timely, high‑quality delivery through strong leadership, communication, and cross‑team coordination.  

 Team Leadership & Cross-Team coordination 

• You promote autonomy, accountability, and psychological safety 

• You ensure decisions are made, documented, and fully understood by all teams.  

• You encourage effective communication and alignment across teams.  

• You help remove cross‑team blockers and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.  

• You facilitate technical discussions across teams and ensure technical requirements are clearly defined.   

People Management 

• You define objectives for teams and individuals.  

• You maintain a positive, collaborative atmosphere. 

• You have a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or another relevant technical domain. 

• You understand Linux systems, networking concepts, and industrial protocol contexts. 

• You have strong coordination and facilitation skills in multi‑team environments. 

• You have ability to challenge proposals constructively and drive consensus.

Nice to have qualifications

• You have experience with Python or C/C++ development in Linux environments. 

• You have knowledge of industrial PLC protocols or VPN/security technologies.
